Focusing on the space inside Starbucks's tall cup, I have produced an experimental editorial design that presents the nonnegligible two-sided energy brought by this narrow and ignored space. The topic is 2D/3D which indicates how can space and location be simplified into 2-dimensional for print.
The whole idea starts from two seed words: wake solitude and drown eternity, which narrated my experience during the pandemic. Drinking coffee is the most effective way to help me concentrate and connect to society by staying in Starbucks with a friend. Nonetheless, the space is also like the abyss, hiding fear and pain. The material, recycled polypropylene terephthalate (PET), still imposes a huge burden on the environment. Meanwhile, coffee can amplify all emotions, like a drug, is addicted and indulged once touched, indulging in eternal murder. -
