The inspiration of this device came from a cliché called haze which has almost become the symbolism of China. Everyday citizens experience the bad air quality, working and suffering under the same sky.

Hence, I attempted to show this situation in a more visual way by using a device in the shape of honeycomb coal filled with some typical impurities such as PM2.5. -
